How much shooting practice do you do ?

I shoot the air rifle on the garden most days. With the full bore I try to get a range day in once a month.

Sometimes I dont shoot anything for weeks then the 22lr comes out for a plink, its good to keep your eye in

Been down the running moose range this afternoon. Shot 10 series(40 shots). I've shot every 2 weeks from Early May till the start of August and then every week till today. The range closes for the winter after tomorrow. Came home and resighted the rifle and Aimpoint with hunting ammo ready for the moose hunting.
Practice makes perfect, I hope;).

I shoot various firearms at the range 2 or 3 times a week.
Probably shooting 5000 rounds + of .22 per year and at least 1000 centre fire per year.

Your only as old as the woman your feeling they say, dont go to siam park in tenerife roger as you may have a heart attack

Shoot something almost every day. Often testing or zeroing customers rifles. Weekends stalking.

I shoot every day the weather is the least bit hospitable. (I draw the line at torrential downpours but every thing else is negotiable) Twenty Two mostly, CF when it suits. Then three-oh-eight mostly, 30-06 lately as well as 7-08 in prep for hunting. Handgun at least weekly.~Muir

.22 rifle almost daily, lb pistol weekly, full bore weekly, new bow, will be everyday until it becomes natural.

Due to working offshore I get home every second month for 4 weeks.
On average about 100 or so round from my C.f in my time home.
Doing some load development at the moment for my .20 VarTarg so last time home it was a bit more.
Out of all that only 2 deer, a well there is always next time.

I Lamp Fox & Bunnies at least one night every week, sometimes manage three, depending on how quiet we can keep the phone!, Range days as I can fit them in, mostly for R/O,Butts,Lookout, don't need to shoot so much at the range days, unless something special needs doing, that won't work on the farms!. Special treats like Deer, & soon Boar, are occasions I look forward to .

Rarely, but this might change soon, up to now i am out so often shooting i don't feel the need, but as this is my last season (in theory!) taking clients out i might check zero myself instead of getting the client to in effect check for me.

Personally i am confident shooting out to 250 yards with my .243
Last year prior to poaching one of Muir's deer in Montana i was practicing a lot with my 30-06 over varying distances up to 400 yards, so i was well prepared when i shot my mule deer at 404 yards.

Cheers
