🤠
Greetings from San Antonio, Texas. I've been scouring the Internet looking for magazines for my CZ 511 rifle and found your site. I'm not much of a hunter or stalker anymore (though those dang wild hogs ripping up our neighborhood might need some attention) but I am a rimfire benchrest shooter in several different matches.
Hope to read and engage in some lively discussions about what y'all are doing for fun, there across the pond!

Hi Stan,
Welcome to the forum.
I’m beginning to be obsessed with Rimfire Benchrest myself so look forward to the discusssions.
If you PM me a picture of the magazines you’re after, I may just be able to help.

all the best matey from across the pond some great lads and lassies on here, im on accurate shooter forum as well bs

welcome on board !

i recently got a rim-x 22lr built for rimfire PRS and i have had to adjust my opinion of the humble 22lr ! it is fantastically accurate with SK long range match!

Welcome aboard - rimfire shooting is a growing obsession here too. I now do it more than centrefire shooting.

Gentlemen - thanks for the warm welcome!
Danny Boy - it's winter here in south-central Texas...I've had to put on a long sleeved t-shirt with my shorts! Temps are a bit above average, looks like we are near 80 degrees Fahrenheit today...around 27C for you folks. Winter in Texas is great.
tackb - rim-x in 22LR is a really nice bit of kit :) I don't shoot PRS but it looks like a fun match. I shoot an Unlimited gun in ARA - American Rimfire Association - an Anschutz 54 action with a Shilen barrel. I can't quite compete with the "true" benchrest guns but I occasionally give the big boys a run for their money. I also shoot in Outlaw Lite class in ABRA - Auto Bench Rest Association. The ABRA started as a group of folks with Ruger 10/22 autoloaders competing, but now it includes bolt guns in Outlaw Heavy (heavy barreled tuner guns) and Outlaw Lite (heavy barrel, no tuner). Lots of fun and I do pretty well with a CZ 457 with a barrel swap, a MullerWorks drop-in that is crazy accurate. And finally, I'm a match director at our shooting club for a match called N50 -National 50, which has air rifles and rimfires competing in several different classes. Keeps me hoppin' when it comes time to score targets! For scopes we all shoot SIGHTRON SIII, Nightforce, or an occasional Meopta, in a scope with high magnification...my Nightforce is a 12-42X and my Sightron SIII is a 10-50X...helps when you're trying to hit that tiny dot at 50 yards.
GGG - What benchrest disciplines are you shooting? I contacted a gent named Ian at Anvil Arms and Angling in Somerset, UK...they have a couple of Brno/CZ 511/581 magazines for sale, but Ian had to check to see if there would be an issue sending them to me via UK Post. I don't believe it would be a problem receiving them on my end...I need to re-email Ian and see what he has learned. Here's the link to the magazines on their site: Item for sale: Brno 581 .22LR Magazine
HandB - Rimfire Benchrest is an addiction - glad to hear y'all are also obsessed with the rimfires. I've been a centerfire shooter and handloader for many years, but haven't touched my centerfire guns or my reloading bench since I started shooting rimfire benchrest. My wife labors under the mistaken assumption that this means I should sell some of my guns that I haven't been shooting....where do the ladies get these kinds of crazy ideas!? :-| I must admit, though....I pulled a little Martini Cadet out of my safe yesterday, thinking I might take it to the range. When purchased it had a pretty crusty bore, so I sent it off to a gunsmith and had it rechambered and bored out to 357Magnum and 38 Special. What a great little shooter for informal target practice. I might have to get it out to the range this week for some "getting reacquainted" time.

Warmest regards to you all - enjoy the beauty of nature and the functional art of your firearms. God Bless!
