How effective do you think deer management is in the UK? I want to hear your thoughts. I am in my second year at Askham Bryan Agricultural College in York studying Countryside Management, 19 years old, carrying out a personal research project aimed at gauging the opinions on the effectiveness of deer management in the UK. I am conducting a survey asking a few brief questions that should take no longer than 5 minutes of your time. To answer, simply follow the link below to the Survey Monkey survey and complete the questions. I have a passion for deer and the countryside and hope to some day turn it into a career. I hope that my project can be one of the first steps to providing a wholesome picture of deer management in the UK and its effectiveness at reducing the impact they can have on the environment whilst keeping healthy populations. I designed the survey to be answered by anyone with an affiliation to deer either in their personal life or within their job role, so anyone is welcome to answer and your response is greatly appreciated, it is an anonymous survey so no need to worry about privacy.

I’m sure the outcome if everyone answered honestly would be that people in the majority shoot to reduce populations for the sake of crop/forest protection and for income purposes. That, and pure sport with no real regard for anything else.

However, people tend to complete surveys in a manner that makes themselves feel good about themselves, ...so your results will probably show everyone is doing a great job to improve deer health and biodiversity, working and sharing information with neighbours etc!

Therefore, my suggestion is to take the results, and then assume people are doing the opposite in reality

Done. Thanks. Your intro (Grammar included) suggests you have choice - you can use your undoubted intelligence for yourself and your satisfaction or you could consider politics.

Done.
Just FYI. Your survey when choosing an option from 1-10 allows you to move the bar up to 100.
