im thinking s&b 3-12x50 Zenith would sort all these

Does that have adjustable focus down to 30yds or so?

I would save your money and get something like a Sightron or Delta if you are using it with an add on. They both tend to have adjustable focus down to near enough nothing, track well and have good enough glass for your needs. You will also be able to buy new and still have change left over.

minox is a good shout however if buying new id probably buy a vortex pst gen 2 in ffp and the parallax goes down to 25 yards

Depends how much magnification you need.......I've got a Delta Titanium 4.5-30x50.....love the MCZ reticle and works great with add-on......tiny illuminated centre dot great at night.....£799 from optics warehouse

Zeiss Conquest V4 6-24x50 Side parallax adjustment, illuminated reticle and ballistic turrets, all for under £1k. Probably one of the best value for money scopes available in this price range
