Caught up with a fox I missed near by.
They cut some grass and I got there about 10pm.
Sure enough it appeared but wow, it hadn't forgotten what a dim red ir light source is!!
It slowly moved off but stopped to look back at what turned out to be about 130 yards.
At the shot it went on a death run and piled into a thick wood. I couldn't find it so went and got my dog. She found it ok but being now deaf I had to wait ages for her to come out of the wood after I clambered into her to retrieve my fox!
Still, she's a good girl, I'd of never found it otherwise.
Here is a lousy photo of it eyeing up the ir and or my silhouette.

There is one cub left also somewhere. Two weekends ago I was just the other side of a fence and thick hedge basically ten yards away from vixen and cub fighting, her pushing it off no doubt!
