Importance of objective lens size and NETD on thermal?

Hi all - to date I have put up with the very cheapest of entry-level thermal monocular for deer stalking and I think it is about time I slightly upgraded. I do not do that much stalking so I do not want to spend that much. Having done some research I think I have narrowed things down to either the Infiray E3 Plus or a Hikmicro LH15 Pro. From what I can gather the main difference between those two is that the Infiray has a 25 mm objective lens and NETD of sub 40mk whereas the Hikmicro has 15 mm and sub 20mk. I gather that NETD is very important but so is objective lens size - which is more important??

Any help greatly appreciated (all views between these two binoculars).

Thanks

There’s always a compromise when buying something . thermal as no exceptions but for me nothing lower than 35mm more than likely you will find yourself in the same boat as you in now and nothing more than a 20mk and you should be one a winner

I have an Infiray Eye E3. Pretty impressed with it.

Looking at the two you suggested, assuming I've identified the correct models, the Infiray appears to have a much greater detection distance, which was a deciding factor for me when considering options.

Also worth finding out if the NETD values are actual or computed.

Thanks. I probably should have said that I mostly stalk in woodland, in case that makes a difference.

640px 35mm ideal combination and price, provides good field of view, detection range and resolution.

Plenty of models available with this specification out there... I prefer binocular format, as the image is immersive and theres zero eye strain no matter how long your vieiwing for...

These are a bargain, super compact, inbuilt LRF, 640 resolution, built like a tank...

I would definitely spend more and jump upto 640px resolution no matter what you decide on...

I'd second trying for a 640x resolution. It's one of the few things I regret about mine.
