All depends on size of deer ?

They perform decent in bad weather, although ALL thermal drops off if the transmission is bad, like tonight its >90% around me... kills any thermal...

I have only used the pulsar Quantam XQ30 so wondering if this would be an upgrade with the picture etc.
 
What are these units like? What distance are they good enough to spot deer out too? Are they good in bad weather?

Had mine about a month now and very pleased with them thus far.

With a base mag of x2, compared to my Habroks (640 - 2k optical) of x3, im really enjoying the wider field of view in the woods. On the other end of the spectrum can ID fallow and roe at 200m no problem.

Dinky little unit, that really is quite impressive.

lol to improve it, I’ve added a cheap knife belt clip which sits on my bino harness or top pocket lovely to stop it swinging about. 👍
