International Firearms Licence And Shooting Abroad.

Hi Members,
I ve been busy recently flying my female goshawk and not been on as frequently as I would like. But ive finally got around to treating myself to a Sako 85 in 30-06 Calibre.

My question is, I would like to get my International Firearms Licence which is in its early stages. Im hoping to go Boar shooting in hungary and Croatia ETC.

Are there any pitfalls I should know about in advance such as adding a moderator etc to a ticket? This will be my first time taking firearms abroad.
Any Help would be greatly received.

Many Thanks
Andy

May I ask what an International Firearms Licence is? Is it just the European Firearms Pass, or is it something else (perhaps valid outwith Europe)?

The only pitfall is to check if moderators are permitted in the country you are hoping to travel to, apply for the ticket including mod, if you are the travelling somewhere where they are prohibited, you don't have to take it.....
