Fencing - £10 per metre, terrain dependent
How many are you thinking of - no more than 8-10?
Stock quality - piece of string...!! Say £400 per animal

Need to look at feed, cover (habitat)

Are you farming or are these just park deer?

Lots of Q's.....

The research done so far say 4 to 6 does + followers per acre on good ground
would like to run 20 does 2 stags & followers ( supplement feed)
This has to be good for the deer and me
it will be run on a park basis
with the main aim to help new stalkers gain experience
one of our biggest problem is badly handle venison some stalkers forget it is food
Have talk to a few people with same size of acres that run deer would like to talk to more

measuring up for the fence & costing
has cover & good hedges
ground is good
eric the red where did you get your stock rates from?
