Hello, I'm new to the Stalking Directory. Great to share thought and valuable info with like minded souls. With +20 years under African sun sets I look forward to both sharing and learning.

Stalking in the UK has been a very rewarding experience. I currently use a T3 lite in 6.5x55. I must say that I was surprised at the significant velocity drop of the 6.5 with the 20 inch barrel. Having used a 24 inch cz550 in S Africa the velocity difference/ drop has been over 200fps using 120ttsx, 140 sierra GK. My T3 here just make 1800 foot pounds with the 120ttsx which is legal, just. When shopping around for other alternatives with 22 or 24 inch barrels I see that the 20 inch barrels is king here. Splitting hairs, but just curious.

Welcome from Essex, been twice in the early 2000's landing in Jbg with a plan to drive to Moz but the guy bailed out so had to fly to Maputo then take the local bus for 7hrs up into Moz lol
Second trip was a not so disjointed Jhb then bus to Louis Trichardt, service the G-Wagon back down to Pretoria pick up people back to Louis Trichardt pick up the rib and diving compressor tanks the on to Moz Boar make a plan Yes (but not good ones lol

My choice, only mine is a lefty, 120 gn is fine for every thing over here. Welcome to the site.
