Hello, I got my FAC after a year of waiting last year and then bought a 6.5 x 55 last year. I’d done a bit of stalking each year with some friends and got bitten by the bug and then luckily have a friend nearby who’s been mentoring me to stak locally around Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. I’ve been picking up tips from him and on the forums on the stalking directory as he’s also an active member. I’ve been shooting with a shotgun for 30 plus years and have more recently been bitten by the bug of rifle shooting.
At some point I’ll also be looking for a 223 and am on the look out for a thermal. We’re lucky enough to have access to som stalking locally with some fallow, roe and muntjak and then each year head to Scotland with a group of us to chase round a few reds and sika. Plus would like to continue to do a bit more pest patrol around home to get on top of foxes. Looking forward to being a member of the directory to meet like minded people, share experiences and pick up tips.
