Hi, I've been a Stalker and gamekeeper for over 25 years, currently living near Banchory in aberdeenshire. Used many caliber rifles, like my 243. Used 270 when I was up north on sika. Used 308 quite a bit. They all do the job if you put the bullet in the right place.
