Hello everyone,
New member to the site but been reading plenty of threads and thought it was time to jump in.
Bit about myself, never really been a big shooter in the past but always had a sub 12 air rifle since I was a lad. However kids are a bit older now and I had a bit more time so started getting into a bit of vermin control (mainly rats). After getting a bsa ultra and night scope I really got into it and since then I’ve got into some pigeon shooting (12 gauge) and also will be my first year on a game pheasant shoot. I also enjoy a bit of rabbit control (.22 fac air rifle and 17 hmr).
Then back in May I got invited to go deer stalking with my brother and a friend and loved it, took my first red deer with my brothers.243 and filled the freezer. I really enjoyed the experience and am now looking forward to going again soon so I’ve recently purchased a Tikka t3x in 6.5 creedmoor.
My next step I think will be my dsc1 and I’d quite like to get into home loading as well so there’ll probably be a few questions to come about that.
Apologies for going on a bit.
Phil
