Hi all,

I am interested in getting my DS1 and currently live in Cornwall. I’m not new to hunting abroad (Norway and Croatia) but new to it over here. Would love some guidance and how to go about getting things done down here. If anyone could guide me in the right direction for paths to go down and people to know. I was directed here via a friend of mine in Suffolk.

DSC1 is a good starting point.
There are a number of course providers, but I am morally obliged to recommend the BDS (British Deer Society).
Available courses are listed on their website, and there's also an option to do the training online, rather than in the classroom, if you prefer.

Yes I’ve just seen they have courses near me, thanks! I’ll definitely be jumping on the course in December. What’s the next steps after completing the course? I’d eventually like to get into deer management, ranger type work on estates/land and see what else doors it opens.
