Hi everyone. I started shooting 20 years ago with a springer air rifle on a small holding I grew up on in Ceredigion Wales. Got my section 1 and 2 about 10 years ago and up till recently have been mostly doing small vermin control on local and neighbouring farms and the occasional clay pigeon sporting shoot.
More recently (last 2 years) I have joined a local shooting club where I have ventured into long range target shooting and practical style of shooting, and different disciplines of clay pigeon.
I have never been on a deer stalk but its definitely something I would like to get involved in, hopefully in 2026. Mostly for the experience and meat. So this seems like a good place to start. Also I keep getting links to here when googling stuff and I thought its about time I joined.
Shotguns are all 12gauge.
22lr, 17hmr, 223rem are the vermin tools
22lr, 6.5creed and 338lap are the target tools.
