Inverclyde & Dumbartonshire DMG

Hi everyone,

I'd like to introduce our recently formed Deer Management Group for the Inverclyde and Dunbartonshire areas of West of Scotland to the forum.

There are a few forum members within the group already but we thought it would be a great medium to increase the Group's awareness and exposure to any potential members who haven't yet heard of the group.

Our group secretary gave a brief history in the most recent LDNS newsletter and you can also find more information on our website which has now gone live and can be viewed here:

id-dmg.co.uk/

We felt there was an increasing need to form a DMG for our areas and hope it helps highlight our long term dedication and commitment to the management of our local deer populations

Please take the time to have a look through the website and feel free to ask any questions or get in touch.

Our contact page:

id-dmg.co.uk/contact/

If you live locally, or manage deer locally to us, and would like to join, then please submit an application form which can be found here:

id-dmg.co.uk/apply/

There is a wealth of experience within the group already but we do hope to add all levels of knowledge/experience for both future training, group development and to continually improve our primary role of deer management throughout the respective regions.

Thanks for looking and best regards.

Welcome to the site a nice place to learn and place information .I hope you group dose well .

Thank you very much for the offer of assistance Brian, we have been getting a great deal of help from the NLDMG to get us up to speed on the paperwork side of things but you're offer is much appreciated.

Hopefully we can make it work and yes I have to agree, like many groups, they are only as effective and as good as the members themselves.

Thanks

Welcome IDDMG,

nice to have another area where folk have come together to collaborate with other parties interested in deer matters.

Another step towards achieving a bigger picture across the central area, heres hoping others will follow.

best wishes
