Is BASC membership worth it?

I've always been of the belief you should try to make yourself redundant, and I don't mean try and get a payout but make your role efficient enough that your not needed allowing you to move to bigger and better things and this has served me well in my career so far, it would be great if the orgs could also take this philosophy with the government etc

At some level, yes!
Oh right. So the lady on reception is the telephone manager. They have the Coffee and tea pot manager and at night they have the Henry manager doing the cleaning eh? I have read some BS in my time. Honestly

I think you should tuck your shirt-tail in.

Hi all, it's coming up to renewal time for my shooting insurance and I've previously used Gunplan at about £30 a year. I'm tempted to use BASC this year, primarily for the insurance that membership brings. At about £80, it's a bit more but I understand there are additional perks. What are people's opinions on membership, are the perks worth it?

Many thanks
Charged me for a year when I was with Countryside Alliance, following year I noticed BASC charged me again. Policies were never provided & copies of current insurers given to my bank who organised a full refund on both from BASC. .

I phoned & purchased twelve months. Providing that for the agreed fee is a basic task & the only legally binding agreement.
Sorry, thought you mentioned them taking money again without agreement hence my comment. I ALWAYS assume companies are crap and if we part company I take the payment plan/DD off my account myself.

So, even the site staff join in the org-bashing. What fun, eh? Use SD to promote your own commercial shooting enterprise while slagging off the orgs that do their best without distributing profit. Or am I being unfair?
Yes you are - opinions differ - its arrogant to presume yours MUST be the right one.

Oh the irony 😂😂😂
My views are my views no more no less - irony has little to do with it, but you obviously need to 'rubbish' something which contradicts your opinion, so I'm fine with the comment signifying as it does a complete dearth of reasonable thought.
This is nothing more than 'forum speak' and, again in my view, unfit for this site.
