Is Lapua brass 35% better than Norma?

Everything I've priced in the last few years which is made by both companies has seen Norma significantly dearer, so if it is 30% cheaper in this case, this has to be a one-off! Grab it quick!
Was about to but I’ve just gone to order and only 1 lot of 50 available, so looks like it’s lapua or ADG.

On chamfering & de burring Nosler brass I found it's very malleable, some other brass can squeal a bit, (Winchester PPU Remington etc being harder), Lapua ADG Norma all very good workable brass.

I thought Norma brass was the equal of Lapua, If you watch the Norma youtube video, they say its designed to be reloaded many times, Norma brass is more expensive to buy than Lapua, I use both brands and I prefer Norma myself. If you ever start neck turning, the necks on Norma are more concentric than the Lapua ones, which always seem to have runout of 0.003-5 thou. Both work fine.

I think it was the 6.5 guys that tested 6.5 creedoor SRP brass and got 20 firings out of it before the pockets became loose.

Not sure where you getting the prices from but Norma is more expensive then Lapua?
Norma is better brass in my opinion but Lapua is best value.
Spud has Norma at £66/50, that is not more expensive than lapua.

He only has 50 though, which I suspect someone will buy soon enough.

Worth looking at Alpha as well? My Lapua has been fantastic, I also got good results from starline although it was noticeably tougher than Lapua…now I’m trying alpha…it’s meant to be very good but too early to say at the moment.

£174/100 vs £66/50.

They’re not looser to the extent they aren’t working just getting looser after 4/5 firings. It was ‘once’ fired from someone else and some had extractor marks so they could have been running hot loads.

I’m at Hodgdons max load of 63 gr H4831 (for a 120) behind a 124 copper yew tree. I realise the copper will likely bump the pressure up but hodgdon show 53kpsi for that load and .270 brass should be rated to 65kpsi.

Lapua is harder and can stand up to pressure better but will require annealing more often
Norma is some of the finest Brass around but am surprised its 35% cheaper as its usually eye wateringly expensive!!
sure the Norma price is not for 50?

if you are getting loose pockets your loads are too hot

running 60gr of N160 behind 130gr Interlocks in my .270 I must have exceeded 10-12 firings on Norma brass
Good morning do you have any 7mm prc brasscases and price please ps not hornady .
