Is the New Alpex any good for deer stalking?

The image quality on the Habrok 4k is significantly better than the image quality on the Alpex4k
I had an Alpex 4k, an Arken Zulus 5-20 and a Habrok4k alongside each other two evenings ago looking at my "standard test" of the holes in an air brick on a roof line 100 yards away
With the Alpex 4k at x20, the Arken at x20 and the Habrok at x22, the clarity of the image and the lack of pixellation on the Habrok was the best digital image I've ever seen
The Zulus image was not quite as good but the holes were still clearly visible
By comparison, the Alpex 4k image was disappointing with a lot of pixellation and the holes in the air brick very blurred
AFAIK, the Alpex4k and the Habrok4k use the same sensor with the only difference being the 50mm f1.2 focal length lens on the Alpex and a 60mm f2.2 focal length lens on the Habrok
The extra focal length on the Habrok gives it more magnification than the Alpex (x3.5 V x5.5 on the Habrok) and smaller aperture on the Habrok gives it more depth of field
IMHO, neither of those things explain why the image quality on the Habrok is so much better than on the Alpex

A nice summary.

I had a A50 and now a 4K. Shot a lot of deer with the A50 and the new version seems better in all areas….so far so good. The USP is the twilight performance. That last 1/2hr of usable light, when the red hinds come mooching out, that would be invisible to a normal scope-that’s the game changer.

I know several folks that have bought them that are not as keen, which is curious to me. I suspect they thought that the daylight performance would match their Schmidt/swaros. It won’t. Not really close. It’s a tool for a specific job to my mind in the stalking world, those last minute opportunities that are the difference between success and failure. They certainly can be used in the daytime to great effect but that isn’t its premier feature IMO.

Bought some Habrok 4ks about an hour ago. So far…impressive. Very impressive.
