We're not. But I know good plenty of people who have. One guy I talk to has spent 11 grand to do all of his.Anyone thinking of vaccinating for bluetongue?

That's what I was trying to mate yeahSensible to recreate it though
We lamb indoors, having seen the losses the weather inflicted on outdoor lambing flocks last year, I don’t think I could stand the heartache of going about bagging up dead lambs. I hope they all have a better season this year, for theirs and the lambs sake.Foxes is an issue with us on ewes with twins outside. Our hill cheviots are good at boxing them away.
We thought about it but the vaccine is about £10 a head and isn’t very effective, only lowering the severity of the symptoms. As it’s a notifiable disease even if the animals are vaccinated then they still have to be euthanisedAnyone thinking of vaccinating for bluetongue?
I got a 100ml bottle from Mole Valley in Buckingham on Saturday, so it is available but it’s hard to get.Struggling to get any mate!! Certainly not enough.
Yeah that's me alright!just the usual odd ones left.
A very wise man indeedHands off as much as possible. I once read a saying by wise manthat's stuck with me "maximum observation; minimum interference" and I've used throughout my lambing years.
