For sale a new Kenwood NX820 UHF mobile radio set up. Complete with Mic, antenna and power units for vehicle or desk top installation.
This is a professional kit and ultimately would require an Offcom licence for official use and programming to the correct frequency.
The full spec can be found here.
This is the last unit I have so £150 pick up or £175 delivered.

Righto , stupid questions time

It says FM but I can’t see what ranges ( UK cb frequency?)
It looks like the range will cover pmr466 but that can’t be right is it ?also most shoot radios are 700mhz ranges and I thought that would be covered but it appears not ??

Sorry for the dumb questions but I’m trying to figure what radio works best for me

Cb range is 27mhz or 11m band area HF
FM and USB

Pmr is UHF FM

I'm guessing this radio UHf in 430mhz range or 400,s somewhere and would also be FM .... don't know if its simplex ...transmit and receive same frequency or split frequency transmit on one receive on another

So basically line of sight and shorter range if hilly or woodland in way between communicating parties

I know but the FM frequencies aren’t in the specs

I know but is limited in power hence asking if this covers pmr with a 5w output ??
