Hi,
Just heard from a PH friend in Africa that a well know man (Schoeman Van Jaarsveld) who ran a Rhino protection company was killed by a 2 horn rhino (2900lbs) that he’d been caring for in the Samara Karoo Reserve.
Apparently charged him unexpectedly and fatally injured him with its horn.
Possibly could have been saved had medical help been near at hand.
