Knife i finished this evening

Well here we are again, and another rough'n'ready number rolls off the bench!

This one for a mate who was Very much enamoured with a scabby old knife i own.


Brief was "That shape, that timber, in stainless"


So, I carved this one out of a slab of 154CM, a timber man produced a selection of Desert Ironwood for my perusal, a piece was picked, bish bash bosh, Bobs yer uncle and all that jazz.....

A few years ago a mate cut me off a few slices of bog oak from a big block that he had. I've had the slices knocking about for ages, so I thought I'd use them on this one as liners. I'm glad I did, what do you reckon?

Mate that wanted it came to pick it up about half an hour after I started the thread, he left the house with bald arms and a cut on his thumb!

Don't think he really knew what 'sharp' was before last night!
