As well as the plethora of reloading tools that Derraco make, did you know that we also make and supply a whole host of knife making tools…?

These include:

• Stainless steel centre & height scribes

These are all held in stock here in the UK (more specifically Chorley in the heart of mighty Lancashire!) and available for immediate dispatch.

Derraco is also the biggest single supplier of knife steel in Australia, so if it would be of interest to the UK market, we can also look to import this. Steel would be available in sheets in a full range of laminated and mono steel, 50*600*T, 100*600*T. The most common sizes are 50/60/100mm wide, 500/600mm long (up 1000mm available though!) and 2.5/3.5/5/5.5mm thick.

It might be interesting to have another supplier of steel here in the uk, as GFS seems to be letting the stock of stainless drop, so they now don't hold a very good selection, What stainless steels would you be thinking about? for me personally I would be looking more at 2, 2.5 and 3mm thicknesses, I dont really see much point in having a hunting knife thicker than that.

Okay, I shall see about having some brought over. I’m told that due to weight it needs to come on a pallet so I’ll look into it.
