Knife project #17 - tried and tested shape, new heat treat method

It's finished. Not my best work, but very comfortable in the hand and VERY sharp. I used the Lansky Purser_AEBL_28.jpg for this edge and it was sharp after just the initial 120 grit stone Purser_AEBL_29.jpg. After two more finer gades and stropping it is very slicey indeed Purser_AEBL_30.jpg. The blade is a camp knife destined to roam Europe in a typical travelling kitchen. As such, the sheath is designed to offer some protection whilst rattling down the road in a tupperware with spatulas and cheese graters for company Purser_AEBL_32.jpg. Not everyone's choice I imagine Purser_AEBL_35.jpg .
