It's finished. Not my best work, but very comfortable in the hand and VERY sharp. I used the Lansky
for this edge and it was sharp after just the initial 120 grit stone
. After two more finer gades and stropping it is very slicey indeed
. The blade is a camp knife destined to roam Europe in a typical travelling kitchen. As such, the sheath is designed to offer some protection whilst rattling down the road in a tupperware with spatulas and cheese graters for company
