Korthal griffon anybody got one

This is
Who I've got mine off. So far so good, basic training coming on well. She is full of her self, chasing the lawnmower around the garden yesterday. Very interested in some fallow legs and going well so far. Fingers crossed we'll stay on track (pardon the pun).

I have a 6 month old who I also got from Colleen. I have had 2 GWPxLabs before. She is just started coming out with me. She has been going well on cold trails up to 3 hrs and is much more naturally steady than my previous dogs.

Interesting. Food for thought my cockers aging quickly now 8.5 not sure I’d get another now I do more stalking ans wildfowling than game shooting.
Mae has been no trouble at all to train, I personally wouldn't hesitate in getting another.
We have put the time in and she certainly has had the work.
She's a cracking dog with a very chilled out personality.
We have only ever worked her on deer. But i believe one would suit your needs . 👍

Absolutely cracking dogs definitely something to consider. Do yours both have docked tails? The one I saw didn’t. Guess it’s less of an issue for them than a spaniel.

I tried to get one before I settled for the GWP but looking at your picture my GWP looks like a litter mate with the same coat and facial furnishings. He is also a lot calmer and easier to live with than most reports of his breed and has never really ranged very far. I'll try and get a picture in daylight and post it , his pedigree says he's got Trudvang, Kimmax, Germanus and Bryantscroft throughout his pedigree. Don't know if any of these lines were used in creating the Korthals which is a relatively new breed but he looks very similar. But wouldn't change him he's a great all round dog but papers say he's a GWP. There was a waiting list for the breeder she was only taking a litter every year or so and the next litter were booked and I needed a pup ............ Not the best picture and he was stripped a few weeks ago . I'll try get the breeders details looked out .
Korthals have been around since 1850 ish
