Kroseg rifle stocks

Has anyone got any opinions on the above stocks? Been around for a little while. There was some early mixed posts on here a while back.

From what I gather, a sister company of hardy rifles. The hardy stocks seem identical and hardy rifles are always well rated. One of the few companies that still inlet for the sako 75 so putting the feelers out.

Cheers!

Will watch this with interest, also looking for a Sako 75 Varmint barrel inlet with adjustable comb option

Hopefully some folk on here will have used them. The mcmillan marble stocks looked great but they stopped in letting for the 75 years ago which is a shame

I have been looking for a while but seem rarer than hens teeth.
Hopefully this thread will open up some info

I believe you can order them directly. I’m not sure why they’re not more popular though. There’s plenty sako 75’s kicking about,(they also do tikka and Remington I believe). And not much competition from other brands for the sako. Possibly the original synthetic stocks are good and folk don’t swap them.

I do prefer the look of the mcmillan marble but that ship has sailed. But I think these are carbon fibre and lighter anyway

I’ve 2 on remi 700’s, ok stocks to be fair,I sent mine away to get cerecoted and some grip put on the pistol grip but good stocks that are easy to inlet the aftermarket magazines with a dremel.lightweight and very handlable

I haven’t seen a Kroseg stock in real life but doesn't float my boat. I have McMillans on my 2 75's and although old school they are pretty bombproof.
Just have to be patient/lucky and keep an eye out in the Classifieds.
Is a flat top an option at McMillan anymore and get gunsmith to inlet?

According the Boyds web site they inlet most of their stocks for Sako 75 i hunter.

I am looking for a stock for an A1 with heavy barrel and they appear to off that as well.

Maybe one of the Boyds UK importers could confirm.

I have the following in stock

Sako 75 action 4 varmint channel adjustable
Sako 75 action 3 sporter
Remington Precision SA varmint adjustable

One of the challenges is the lead time and issues of NZ couriers refusing to take any firearm parts
The are extremely well made and certainly one of the cheapest true carbon stocks out there
