Kuiu Axis Hybrid Pant vs Sitka Timberline Pro Pant

I’m torn between the two options mentioned in the title.

The idea of a hybrid pant really appeals to me—particularly for sitting while spying (to prevent a wet backside!), and for kneeling when gralloching.

I recognise a waterproof pair of pants solves the above issues, but comes at the expense of a lack of breathability. Plus, I dont like wearing waterproofs unless I have to.

If anyone has real‑world experience with either pair, I’d really appreciate your feedback.

So with the Kuiu option you won’t be able to sit down on wet grass etc for long periods as it will soak through. The water proof panels are good for rain etc but they are designed for soaking etc.
