Kuiu Bino Harness clips - anyone need spares?

Morning all,

One thing that's always bugged me about the KUIU Bino Harnesses is that they have you switch to new clips for connecting the binoculars, but don't provide a spare set to connect to the original neck strap.

I find this really annoying as sometimes I do just want to go out walking the dog with my thermal bins, but not be trussed up with a harness like I'm stalking.

Anyway I found a supplier of them but they're abroad so shipping is way more than the product.

Before I just give in and order, does anyone else fancy spares?

They're £2.50 each but shipping is about £21.

I imagine they'll cost a couple of quid to post here as they're too thick for small letter.

I'm obviously not out to make on these but would just split their £21 fee amongst the buyers and charge the onward postage.

If 10 people said yes, it'd be their clip cost plus £4 ish for postage in and out.

But then maybe everyone things wtf are you on about, you're on your own. No bother if so

I went through exactly this issue with AGS bino tether systems as they call them as I swap between different binos (Leicas, Habrok, Draco, etc) or simply just want to use the bino remote. Found a uk supplier eventually after a bit of trial and error:

I'll take a look at them and see if they do the right brand. Unfortunately Kuiu have chosen to use a Duraflex branded buckle, that has a curve to it. A standard 10mm buckle won't fit

These have a curve :thumb: They are all Chinese I strongly suspect coming out of very few factories.

No joy. Issue being, Kuiu ones are stitched to the harness so they can't be swapped.

You have to get the proper Duraflex ones, which can only be found abroad

Works for me - true, not Kuiu but AGC (as advised above). One set of sewn original tethers and two I have made up so that I can quickly swap between whichever Bino is more appropriate. I also have a spare neck strap just in case I take two out to use one in the car.

Here's the KUIU issue. Stitched on, and not compatible with widely used clips.

Not to worry, I have a source but was just posting this in case anyone else wanted to jump in on the same order
