Hopefully will be having some Lab pups just shortly so just putting feelers out see if there might be any interest bearing in mind we don't know how many, dogs vs bitches, colour (i suspect that there will be mainly blacks) etc.

Yellow Bitch to a Black Dog - both KC registered.

Both parents owned by us and work full time August to February.

Bitch from the bitches previously litter can be seen (different father).

Neither parent is health tested but the mothers parents are both 0:0 hips and elbows and clear eyes.

Bitch that we kept from the last litter is tested 2:2 hips and 0:0 elbows.

We are planning to keep a couple ourselves but hopefully there will be a surplus (as much as anything so we have a nice choice).

Based Deeside

Thanks

Dan

2 of these pups are available. Probably a 2 yellow bitches but might switch what we keep for the right home and sell a black dog.

Rest of of the details as above. Ready start of July

We didn't bother with the bitch as when we started with her it wasn't top of the agenda. She comes from a line o parents and grandparents that all have 0:0 hips and elbows so happy at that. For the last 4 seasons she has worked full time as part of a team doing over 80 days picking up a year and no problems.

The dog works similar to the bitch (little bit younger) and again has great conformation and never come lame despite punishing work in the season.

We we should have tested them both and be charging another £300 at least per pup but we are happy they are quality animals that are primarily replacing our own dogs and going to working homes.

Going forward we we are going to be testing everything as not having a certificate (regardless of what it says) seems to really put people off. The last litter just over 2 years ago from this bitch to Denbank khaki bred a bitch who we have had tested as 2:2 hips and 0:0 elbows. I would wager from the test results, his test results and his parents results that he has that he has worse hips than the bitch.

Im always curious where people draw the line with health testing. You see dogs being bred as health tested with 8:9 hips or much worse and people lap it up because they have been tested. We try out best to breed quality dogs that have really been tested in work and shown to be sound. However going forward we are going to be testing and waiting to see what the next vital thing people will need before buying a dog.

We we have even been asked if 8 week old pups have had any training.

Cheers

Eye test first, then hip score, elbows getting more asked for ...
if they fail eye test would not breed from, so do eye test first if fail , you save money not hip scoring.
it is to keep the breed healthy,,,,,
regards,

Den. Ps, this is just my way when I was breeding, and still got problems, interbreeding another thing to control !!!
