Anyone using at the mo?
Interested in how successful a funnel trap is with a call bird? The crows here are a bit clever it seems on the Larson trap now.

I have used a funnel trap in the past, without a call bird. It proved very effective on the crows. It was sighted in a remote corner of a wood, not in plain sight, but the crows found it alright. From memory eight was the best overnight catch.

Get a couple of clam shells next to the larsens - absolutly lethal on crows

Last year a mate of mine set up a ladder trap next to the cattle sheds which were plagued by crows and jackdaws. At one point he was emptying it twice a day. His best was about 90 in a day.
This year they set another one up 300yrds away. they came but somehow were getting out. New trap needs some modifications.

I didn't get chance to put a call bird in, they just piled in.
This was situated next to a cow shed
