Land Rover Discovery views

Is it JLRs fault or the Tata beancounters that walk around the design centre at Whitley/Coventry? I saw them there back in 2011 I am sure nothing has improved since then.
i have had JLR products since the early 90's , they have always been unreliable !

over three decades of being at the bottom of reliability surveys , some achievement that you know !

you'd think by the law of averages they'd make something reliable by chance by now!

Toyota landcruiser's are phenomenal. I have a 2003 j120 d4d auto model with 250k on the clock. Has a tough life hauling farm stuff, dead things, offroad and motorway trips. Never broken down - ever. No major components changes. I've kept up with service schedule (done all myself - easy to work on, has a diagram how to change timing belt printed inside the engine bay!). All the electrics work including heated seats, abs, descent control etc. Will do injectors soon. Still amazed how good it is.
If i ever changed i'd get an 80 series with some nice mods - do a search for them on u toob if u want some serious offroad porn...
