Malc’s personal AW & AWM were sold at auction a while or so after he died, they didn’t make anywhere near those sorts of figures

Is the remaining collection being sold on behalf of someone connected to the company, or have they already been sold, and someone is trying to cash in with a nice profit

FN UK have been quietly pumping out 12.7mm M2 machine guns, 7.62mm Mag 58’s and others for a number of years, previously under Manroy Engineering from their UK base.

I believe with the exception of barrel forging the vast majority of manufacturing is UK based, very much like AI. There are without a doubt the most mature UK weapon manufacturer at the moment. The competition is generally built around an industrialisation strategy, rather than a current manufacturing capability actively producing weapons.

This acquisition ties into the MoD’s desire to have a single UK based portfolio supplier under Project Grayburn.

I’d like to think that FN are complimentary to AI and appreciate their values.
