Over the last month I have been field testing a fantastic scope from DNT optics , The TNC 225r Thermnight multispectral scope

This scope has fantastics digital colour day vision, amazing Night vision with built in IR that has a range well above 250m even on lowest setting, it has the back up of thermal for tracking heat sigs and to top it all off it has a built in laser rangefinder with ballistic calculator. All in one scope that definitely does not break the bank at under £1000

Check out the written review DNT Optics TNC225R Thermnight | Field Sports Scotland Also check out the Youtube Video review https://youtu.be/hHqEvgAESGY?feature=shared each one has something that the other does not so whether you like to read reviews or watch them you can choose.

These are fantastic scopes for the money
There are 2 better spec models becoming available in the next couple of months
The Thermnight TNC335R has a 12 micron 384x288 sensor and 35mm lens, while the TNC635R has a 12 micron 640x480 sensor and 35mm lens
No prices available yet, but loads of pics here

Cheers

Bruce.
The current Thermnight has a 12 micron 256x192 sensor. So presumably that means the 12 micron 640x480 sensor will give a x2 more detailed image?

No, the level of detail depends on the size of the sensor pixels and the focal length of the lens- it does not depend on the number of pixels
So, the 225R, 335R and 635R all have sensors with 12 micron pixels, but the 35mm lens on 635 (and the 335) will increase the level of detail in the image by approx 40%
The 335 will have a higher base mag than the 635, and it will also have a narrower field of view
