Lever Gun Gurus, help me decide

Being a muzzleloader shooter cleaning from the muzzle isn't a big deal for me.

A simple muzzle protector and decent cleaning chemicals it's quite easy with some absorbent material by the breech.

One Winchester 94 that came my way would not shoot well but the bore was orange with gilding metal.
After a couple of nights soaking in solvent most of it was gone and it shot very well after.
In fact, I find it as easy as the Marlin and no risk of losing the ejector and chewing a screw head up.

Of course if you are shooting lead with enough lube and not the lousy commercial bullets with a single lube groove filled with what looks like jam from a tart you probably won't need to clean the barrel for a long old time, like 22.

Marlin, .44 in stainless - lovely rifle to hold and shoot and you have an advantage over .357 in competition as the hole is bigger!

Load it with 240gr RNFP, with 4.4 grains of titegroup - it’s a standard load for gallery rifle that most gallery competitors use.

Gixer

I'll bear that in mind, conveniently we already have some titegroup that we got for free for Mrs SimpleSimon's .38 😎

Try to find some and check if they feed, I'd substitute RNFP with SWC for neat holes in target. I mean, finding is not difficult but don't buy 500pcs at once...
