Lightweight, Breathable, Waterproof Boots for summer stalking

I've used this for years on Nubuck and suede boots (from new):

Thanks for all replies. I've gone for two solutions

1.) A pair of Ottershell waterproof socks (for use in the Craghopper Salado's

2.) A pair of Haix Black EagleAthletic GTX V2.0

For summer time i just use issue jungle boots and non synthetic socks. After all being warmer temperature wise and then going home again so its no biggie getting wet feet. Plus the jungle boots dry quickly and natural fibre socks breath with your feet. Wouldn't ever touch goretex socks with a barge pole, had some awful issue ones once, we all binned them off.
Horses for courses though, boots are a very personal thing.

Fair play to Craghoppers - after an initial issue with its AI customer service - they've given a full refund on the Salado boots for not being waterproof. They are really, really comfy and lightweight so, on those dry dawns/dusks they'll get plenty of use and as a non-waterproof or semi-waterproof boot, they are worth the current retail price.

Glad you found something that works.
My poderist compromised instead of orthopedic foot wear after amputation made a missing bits insole to suit any footwear.
Keeping me active without having various items of footwear.
