Hi. I have been a target rifle shooter and formally pistols (but let's not go there) for 30 odd years. Took up clays after we lost our pistols and in the last year attended the odd pheasant shoot and and started, since retiring in May, deer stalking with my daughter three kills to date and just got our DSC 1. We live in Hampshire near Downton Abbey!!! And would like to get permission to shoot deer on land locally. Help here would be appreciated. I will be getting Steyr Mannlicher SM12 308 later this month be grateful for advice as to what ammo works well. Mike
