Anyone moving on a scope suitable for F Class / Benchrest 1000+ yards just starting out so nothing to expensive Glasgow based cheers

I have a nightforce 8-32x56 which I have been using for fclass to 1000yd. PMme if you think that would work for you? It is second focal plane and has the 2dd reticle.

just some thing i have noted reference the arken scope, my first arken became faulty so i returned it to optics warehouse and after quite a few weeks a replacement was sent to me, straight out of the box the lenses had oil/contamination on the inside of the lenses making the scope unusable so again returned to optics warehouse another long wait and a third scope was sent to me, this one functions and works as it should BUT NOTE the lense quality is not as good as the original scope i purchased .the quality of the glass appears to me to be of a lesser quality. maybe arken has changed their suppliers but the quality of the scope seems to be less than the original arken i purchased. perhaps another example of give your first buyers a good scope but as sales improve drop the standards and hoped no one notices ,more money in the sellers pockets .just my opinion but arken wont be on my recommendation list.

I've got 2 sightron s111 on my long range stuff. I've shot out past 1200 yards with both on about 18x and didn't need a spotter for the misses it was that clear.

Both 2nd off here for £600ish, lifetime warranty as well.

I'll probably be buying a 3rd to go on a 6.5prc.

I use a Falcon X50 on my F class rifle. It's not especially fashionable and like Sightron Siii scopes its field of view is quite narrow (I think it comes from the same factory in Japan as Sightron) but the resolution at long range is better than my prestige brand scopes. On 24x I can see bullet holes in the target at 1000yds. It has 1/8 MOA clicks which are ideal for precise long range adjustments of impact. Falcon are a great British brand who stand behind their products. Make sure you get the LR version not the Field Target version as the parallax on that is for close range. I think they are discontinued but pop up for sale now and again second hand at very reasonable prices (£300 to £500). X50 10-50×60 SFP Riflescope MOA

If budget (or weight) is key, the Vector Continental 6-48x56 is worth a look. Although a Chinese scope, Vector's flagship Continental range use German Schott ED glass which is exceptional for the money. I run on my Rimfire target rifles and until had to pull out of F-Class before even getting properly started, was seriously contemplating using on my AI to get into the FTR weight limit with a 34" barrel. With much less total vertical adjustment than it's peers you will definitely want at least a 20MOA rail, but for ~£600 they are way less than half the cost of any of their peers. I asked Richie Jones of the GBFCA for his thoughts but he hasn't personally encountered the scope, although does understand the Italian's rate highly for FTR.
