TopThe chambering issue is a headscratcher, but first things first. When you say he 'twisted the dmd' what d'you mean exactly? Did he decock the bolt?
Does it now look like this?

I am going see Arron wheeler tomorrow he’s had it over a week now the issue is getting it apart it’s solid. Be a real shame to have to scrap my rifle I love it to bits but browning have stop export ing parts , plenty in AmericaHmm now that is interesting. Has he somehow also twisted the bolt face?
I will see state of play tomorrow mate and let you knows thanks for your imputImpossibleThe only thing that can rotate is the follower. Wish I could get my hands on it for a fettle!
Only thing I can suggest is to see if there's some way you can strip it. If it truly is buggered (and I'm struggling to see how) you've nothing to lose. When did it start failing to chamber rounds?
Can you take some photos?
Thanks for your imput I will go to shop in morning and see what the crack is and show him this tool if need beRight. I have a rifle made by Callum Ferguson which came with a special
Decocking tool to release spring when storing

That’s the way to strip Rem bolts out in the field.Decocking can be accomplanished with a shoe lace, get the angle right and the sear is easily pulled back.
Only issue is that a good pair of boots cost more than that tool.
Guess notAny news?
In truth, I suspect we've been subjected to a complete waste of our time on this threadSeems this problem was sorted with a boot lace decades ago…
