Looking for wood gouge chisel type hand tool

Hi All,

Have been tasked with looking for a hand tool that looks like and the same size of the average wood gouging chisel on one end and has an offset spike on the other....and it's not a wood gouging chisel with the handle missing.

I can't find a photo but this is what it kind of looks like. Made of steel, the curve at the front is like a gouging chisel and the dark edges coming back from the curve are sharp as well, centre is round leading to an angled spike approx 1 1/2" long.
Been told that they come in different sizes

Anyone any ideas???

Thanks

Looks like a veiner.
Actually very easy to make and plenty of videos on the tube.

I’m looking at making myself a set of checkering tools when I get home in a week or two as I’m refurbishing a rifle that I’ve just bought.
