EMcC I am on the hunt for a similar model, how have you found it? Would love to see some pictures, let me when back up for sale.

I had a Discovery SE before and this one is the same drive experience but a bit more luxury and bells and whistles.
It is presently lodged with a LR garage and the news is not good. Due to the LR UK being Cyber attacked spares and vehicles have not only stopped production but the spares they hold are not able to be distributed either.
The only good thing is that I have a courtesy car during the mean time provided by LR UK, a Range Rover Sport and have it until my vehicle is sorted, so I'm not without a vehicle but would prefer my own.
I told the garage that if they want to buy it off of me for £45, 750 and take a chance on how long before it is sorted I would be willing to go down that route.
I offered it at such a low price hoping they would jump at it and I could buy another but they are not sure how long the problem with LR UK will be so declined.
As it still has 12 month warranty I thought they would either buy it themselves or know someone that would jump at the chance of a bargain.

Blooming heck and having the head up display and heated screen I assume its genuine only for fitting. Ok keep me posted and DM some pictures if possible.

Chased the garage up again yesterday but still no light at the end of the tunnel. I heard that the Govt had helped to bail them out with a massive loan but still no sign of movement of either vehicles or spares. I did ask why windscreen replacement company's can't be approached but it is to do with the type of vehicle but mainly it is because it is still under warranty so has to be a replacement from the LR factory and fitted by LR fitters. I'm still running around in a Range Rover Sport but would prefer my own.

Tuesday 28th, still chasing the LR garage up ref my Disco but have been told some spares are coming through but my screen is still on Back Order with no idea of when will be available.

Mine's raining in badly next thing headlining will be knackered still waiting for new windsceen on back order, have you got yours fixed

Checked again but told not to ring them as it is still on 'Back Order' which to them means not available, and they will ring me when it is sorted..
It is getting a bit beyond a joke now, I know I have a nice courtesy car, a 2 year old Range Rover Sport but it's not he same number plate so I have to either pay or book in when visiting sites that have NPR as my No plate is already registered.

Monday 8th December, got my vehicle back at last. The LR garage did the best they could and as a result of them taking so long and I blamed them for letting water in, they have very generously given me/it a free service.
As the road tax and insurance expired end of October I had to tax and insure it before I could collect it so have decided to keep it a little longer so no longer for sale at the moment.

land rover should have taken it off you for the40000+ you ask for as they had it a very long time . good luck with it now you have it on the road again.

I have actually bought a new 35th anniversary model, worked out less per month than buying used with 5.9% APR and £10k in dealer / LR deposit.
Just hope it doesn't have windscreen issues!

you should be ok with the windscreen but the faulty steering rack will probably get you or other electrical gremlins ,good luck with your new vehicle .
