Just hoping to find some advice on a kitchen larder. Domestic CEO has a hankering fro a 2m x 7m boot room on the side of the house to turn into a utility room and house a dog crate if we get one.(Dog, that is!) Frees up a whole load of space in the kitchen.
As she can't boil an egg and gets culinary stress if kitchen skills get more complex than outing a bowl of cereal, I see an opportunity to put an old fashion type of larder/pantry room in there. Its going to be south facing so might get a bit warm in the summer. Anyone had any experience of putting one in, or got ideas of any refridgeration machinery I could use to keep the room cool in the warmer months? Its Sussex so we don't have the year round cold like you get up in Scotland!!
