This is reposted from 2023. The buyer for this rifle could not eventually take the rifle - not his fault, it must be said, but problems with his local Police Firearms dept just ran on for too long.

Steyr Mannlicher Luxus in 7x57. Habicht Nova 4 power scope. Steel magazine. Single set trigger. This was originally my own rifle, and was sold to Phil Wright when I bought my Daniel Fraser.
£450. The rifle is at the top of the attached pic.

OK - finally got to the RFD this morning, so an update on the WInchester. The RFD measured the wrong gun on the rack....oops. It's a Winchester Super Grade, 12bore with 3" chambers. Barrels are 28" with a raised vent rib, white bead and white mid bead. Single trigger. New top lever spring fitted. Action is tight. Price £475. WInchester now sold, subject to the usual.

Hello SDC7X57,
Re the Winchester; Does this gun have a straight stock? What's the L.O.P. and do you know what it's chokes are?
I'm interested (if it's a straight stock). I could get down tomorrow or Saturday afternoon if it is still available?

Cheers
Hillside

Sorry Hillside,

I missed the chokes off the update - they're 1/2 and 3/4 fixed+. It does have a straight stock - LOP?....don't know, but my LOP for a shotgun is 14 5/8" and it throws up perfectly for me. There is another interested party looking at it tomorrow, but if it doesn't move, I will get in touch. It was used on Islay in the days when you could till shoot geese there....and there were thousands. Other than that, it's done next to nothing.

Best regards,

S.
