meat trays?

I have seen some very handy trays in various sizes in our local garden centre. Supposed to be for standing grow bags or plant pots in, but they'd make ideal meat trays. Some have ribbed bottoms, so excess blood would drain away from the meat.
One of the largest ones would make a decent muntjac or roe sized carcass tray for the back of the car.
The smaller ones (18"×11") would suit your purpose.

Bushwear do
“Araven” shallow trays large and small and a mega mixing bowl

They are mental money from them but if google and shop around you will find other vendors

Worth the money

Just to update, In the end I ordered 10 of the above trays (post #15) and they're really good value. At that price I was expecting them to be thin and flimsy, but they're actually quite robust.
A bit on the small side maybe, but 10 of them is enough to portion out a whole fallow (one for best dice, one for stewing dice, one for haunch steaks, one for loin steaks, etc etc) so probably they don't need to be any bigger. One tray will hold several kg of mince if you pile it up a bit.

I would recommend them as a good affordable addition to any home butchery.
Very quick delivery, too.
