Mincer

I'm a very small scale commercial user and I've had various Trespade machines, fillers, slicers, mincers and I don't rate them at all, they are fragile and poorly made. The Buffalo mincer is okay for occasional use, you'd struggle to break it but it isn't up to daily commercial use.

What do you use?

We use the Buffalo, but we are not butchering every day. When we send cattle/sheep/pigs to slaughter and there is a lot of mincing to be done the bulk of it is done before the meat is delivered back to us for further processing.

Only generally doing a couple of muntjac every 2 weeks, so went for mincer from Lakelands when on offer at £90 - think its £110 normally. The 3 yr guarantee appealed. Had it 4 months now and really happy with it. Just depends on how much you're doing I guess.

Exactly! The hours of my time and electricity wasted in the past with a 50 quid job .... 400quid mincer , paid for itself In no time !
Barely noticed it getting even remotely hot, altho rarely have it on for more than 5-10 mins.
I may open it up to give it the motor a visual, check airflow is clear etc but I suspect it will last for a long long time
I’ll second that. Investing in a decent mincer that doesn’t clog at the first sign of sinew saves a lot of time if you’re using it regularly.

I purchased a buffalo a few years ago after going round the houses with the Lidl centre isle kit. Couldn’t recommend it enough, top quality and speeds the process up 10 fold.
