Miroku 7000 and steel shot

Hi guys.
I'm hoping someone can put my mind to rest here..
Before I go spending money on getting my stock altered to fit me properly.
Will my barrels be OK with using steel shot ?
I know for lots of you this will be a stupid question but I havnt used my shotgun for about 5 years now with work and rifles taking over.
So I'm just after clarity of this before spending on the old girl

I've got a Miroku 6000 which is the fixed choke version of the 7000. Mine has Teague thin wall chokes fitted and I've put around 5,000 standard steel loads through it. These have been:
Gamebore Super Steel 32 gram no.4
Gamebore Black Gold eco wad 32 gram no.4
Lyvale Express supreme steel 32 gram no.4
No barrel or choke damage at all

Me too and again no issue

Check your chokes are half or less and get it services if you haven’t used it for up to 5 years. Miroku 7000 is my go to shotgun, but needs to be cared for - getting older now, like me!

I personally dont worry about choke - mine is 3/4 and 1/4 with standard steel

Really you don,t worry about choke ? I personally have seen new guns with bulging barrels due to steel shot, even chokes ripped out of new A400s due to using inappropriate chokes.

Not one bit - 23 guns in our syndicate - and had 18 shooting today
No issues
Fired thousands and thousands and thousands of shots between us now

All ok then, so what chokes do they have and shot size and weight, assuming that there guns are half and three quarters, in steel that works out at full and full plus two ? Using newtons third theory, every action there’s a reaction ( the bauble effect in barrels) the pressure in the full choke barrel will be very high, but if it works for them then that’s ok, I don’t, know why manufacturers bother putting no steel on multi choke guns.

I agree. I've scored the 3/4 choke in my Armsan A612 by shooting 36 gram no.3 steel through it.

What chokes were they using? I'd be taking it steady with anything more than half choke.

As you know there never was a forth, but it’s irrelevant to the discussion, are you saying baubling does not happen causing possible excessive pressure? Resulting in bulging of barrels.

Ok I've just got back and these are the markings on the barrel.
Special steel 12G 2, 3/4 on the top.
18.4
900kg
12-70
BNP then 1 crown above it.
Other than the 12g and 2, 3/4
I'm guessing that's 12 gauge and 2 3/4, (70mm) chamber length.
As for the others I've no clue
