The wind was a pig yesterday, but rather that than fog.

What is the run down of this competition? Calibre, distance, position, number of shots etc?

Static firing point, steel plate 10"x15" out to 1000yds,12"x16" thereafter out to about 1600yds.
3 shots at target, if you fail to impact you don't progress. Detail will take their three shots at target in turn, generally start about 400 yds.
Short action category covers up to 284w, long action and magnum above that.
