Murom primers!

I was checking how many primers I have this afternoon and came across this when looking at some packets of Murom large rifle primers.
Most of them were clearly marked on the front and side of the packer as Murom - Competition primers - KVB-7 Large rifle, but on the side of the packet as KVB7 Large Pistol 100 primers !

I know enough that if they are Large Pistol ? I cannot use them as Large Rifle primers, but not enough to identify definitely 100% that they are Large pistol or Large rifle.
There were 3 packets out of 10 packets marked as such.
A heads up to any one buying Murom primers to check that the front and side identification are the same.

Thanks for that as I had bought 5K Small Rifle just after Putin went on his hols in the Ukraine.
I am in the UK now and they are back in Germany so will do a check later.

Murom Large Pistol are usually labelled as KVB-45

Good news is they're easy to tell apart :)

Large Rifle measure .121" deep and have a pink/peach coloured primer compound

Large Pistol measure .115" deep and have a lilac/purple coloured primer compound

They've not been imported into the UK for several years now, I bought tens of thousands of them from HPS-TR back then and still using them now! excellent primers :)

Thanks for info, I've just measured mine and they are 0.124" and do seem to have a pink/peach coloured compound.
So they would seem to be large primer but I'll keep them as a last resort use.
