Does anyone have one of these and if so, how do you rate them for stalking in terms of: waterproofing, warmth, ease of movement, durability?

Does the weave snag easily on branches, thorns, etc?

I have one for game shooting they are fine for peg work but I'd not wear it stalking they are fairly warm they are very comfortable but the fabric will slowly take on water not like traditional tweed but the outer does get heavy. They also snag quite easily in fact I've hardly worn mine in 2 years as I have better options for both stalking and game shooting.

I've had a Musto Technical Tweed coat for a decade and worn it quite happily for roughshooting, driven shoots, wildfowling (only once, because cleaning it afterwards was a nightmare), stalking or just when it's cold. It's very warm, breathable, waterproof, comfortable, plenty of pockets, excellent quality. The fabric resists thorns and abrasion. I'm going to wear it chamois stalking in a fortnight. Admittedly it isn't ideal for that, as it wasn't for wildfowling, but it certainly does the job. It's heavy, I'll grant you that, especially with pockets full of stuff, but you don't notice the weight distributed like that when you're wearing it. I don't think it would be my first choice of dedicated stalking coat, but given that it does the job just fine and that it absolutely refuses to fall apart, I'm sticking with it.

I've got the predecessor to this, now 10 years old, warm, waterproof and not torn, although the pattern has faded a bit, on the arms.Whiffs a bit when I put it in the hot cupboard to dry though....
