My duck flight pond is almost dry!!!

This time last year I couldn't get to my pond as it was flooded out last night it looked more like a muddy wallowing hole you see on the African wildlife films, except no crocs!!!

Anyway 20 + mallard got off it before I fed it but if we don't get some rain soon then no duck for another year.

On my way to work i pass a couple of big flight ponds next to the railway and they also are looking very low and thats on the Somerset levels.

No sense to the British weather, bonus is at least they are combining flat out so we are shooting foxs, pity they don't bale the straw straight after, make my life a lot easier.

Mine is about a foot down on this time last year and I had to cut a ramp in the bank to let the reared duck get to the feeders the carp in the pond love it this time of year mopping up the spillages of pellet and grain .
